We seek a faculty member specializing in one or more of the following areas: severe storms, high-impact weather, ground-based atmospheric remote sensing, radar meteorology, mesoscale meteorology, boundary layer dynamics, convection, cloud/precipitation processes and other related areas, with particular emphasis on observational methods, field campaigns, and a focus on the active use and further development of the Severe Weather Institute鈥揜adar & Lightning Laboratories (SWIRLL) and associated research & teaching facilities. The successful applicant must have a PhD in Atmospheric Science or related area and will join the department in a position commensurate with experience.
